Khalida started out her career in journalism, working in lifestyle reporting in Naples, FL and TV News at UPN-50 and WXYZ ABC 7, Detroit, MI.
Realizing she loved asking people tough questions and disliked news station hours, she moved into digital advertising. Her career took off (during one of the worst recessions for both Detroit and Southwest Florida in particular) working in the automotive industry with both manufacturers and dealerships. She became a top reseller of Google Search Products at a subsidiary of Condé Nast Digital, gaining national recognition amongst her peers. She helped many stores in the red achieve record-breaking growth with the addition of new lead processes, training, and digital ad spending changes.
She is credited with now helping automotive dealerships, real estate agencies, medical practices, and schools, amongst many others, change their businesses into fully integrated digital operations via strategy marketing, updated lead conversion processes, and social media creativity—boosting sales, service, and most importantly – PROFIT.
A die-hard Wolverine from birth, Khalida earned a B.A. in Communications, and a Minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan, and her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the University of Michigan as well.
She resides in Southwest Florida with her husband, son, and daughter.
