When Brooke was in seventh grade, she wrote her first story. From that moment on, she would rarely be seen without a pencil in her hand or a book in her lap. As a self-proclaimed bookworm and published writer, she is no stranger to the art of storytelling.
Brooke’s professional story began at Missouri Western State University where she graduated with a B.A. in Journalism. Her talents led her to become co-founder, anchor, and reporter for the student-run news broadcast.
Her student broadcast received several awards and nominations, including ‘Best Television Newscast’ at the Pinnacle College Media Awards and the David L. Adams Apple Awards.
Following university, Brooke accepted a role as Multimedia Journalist at her local news station. Before long, she was also news anchor for primetime and morning newscasts.
In 2020, Brooke flipped the page to a new chapter. Her love of travel took her to London, England, where she lived and studied marketing communications. There, she explored different cultures, met incredible people from across the globe and continued to enhance her craft. She graduated from the University of Westminster with an M.A. degree.
Outside of work, you can find Brooke writing her own fiction novel or working her way through an ever-growing pile of books on the nightstand. She has two cats, Chandler and Cas, and four sisters. She now resides in Kansas City.
